Our Mission
The purpose of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation, Inc., is to perpetuate the memory of an outstanding young man by helping to develop the game he loved among local youth players.
The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of soccer in the Northern Kentucky community through financial support of local soccer programs and educational scholarships awarded annually to college-bound players without regard to race, gender, color, religion or national origin.
It is the Foundation's hope that the youth players of today will become the outstanding players of tomorrow by continuing to succeed at the college level as student athletes and thereby realize the Foundation's vision of empowering them to become our exceptional citizens of the future.
The Foundation is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization. The Board of Directors consists of volunteers. Funds are raised through private donations and the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Tournament held each year in September.
Board of Directors
The members of the Board of Directors are all volunteers. They each serve a 2-year term, bringing to the Board their time, energy and talents. Board members select the scholarship recipients each year and give their time and skills when the Foundation hosts the soccer tournament in the fall. If interested in serving on the Board of Directors, contact Gary or Barbara Christian at 859-283-1926.
